BI - Brigade D'Intervention Paris

Intervenční Brigáda - BI je zásahová jednotka pařížského policejního ředitelství se sídlem ve 12 pařížském obvodu. Jednotka vznikla v říjnu 1998 pod názvem rozptylová a zásahová brigáda - BDI a tvořili ji především instruktoři a sportovci. V následujícím roce došlo ke změně názvu na Intervenční Brigádu. V roce 2004 došlo ke spojení s Brigade de recherche et d'intervention BRI. V roce 2016 došlo k osamostatnění jednotky. V roce 2018 byla tato jednotka pověřena novým úkolem "palební podpory". Tento úkol spočívá v personálním posílení Bezpečnostní skupiny prezidenta republiky GSPR a zajištění bezpečnosti prezidenta při jeho cestách. Členové jednotky disponují různými specializacemi jako je střelba na přesnost, lezení po skalách, pohyb a práce v koloně nebo sestup do katakomb. Jednotka disponuje větším počtem odstřelovačů.

 

Intervention brigade - BI is an intervention unit of the Paris Police Directorate based in the 12th Paris arrondissement. The unit was established in October 1998 under the name Dispersion and Intervention Brigade - BDI and was mainly made by instructors and athletes. The name was changed to Intervention Brigade the following year. In 2004 there was a merger with the Brigade de recherche et d'intervention BRI. In 2016, the unit became independent. In 2018, the unit was entrusted with the new task of "fire support". This task consists of the personnel reinforcement of the security group of the President of the republic GSPR and ensuring the safety of thePresident during his travels. Unit members have different specializations such as precision shooting, rock cimbing, moving and working in column or descending into the catacombs. The unit also has a large unit of snipers.
